From Liguria's Hills to Your Table
Single-origin Taggiasca extra virgin olive oil, cold-pressed on our family estate in the Valle Argentina. No shortcuts. No blends. Just 120+ years of Italian craft.
At ROI, we've been pressing olives the same way since 1900. Our extra virgin olive oils come from a single source: the ancient Taggiasca olive groves of Liguria, in northwestern Italy — the same trees that Benedictine monks first cultivated over 1,200 years ago.
Every bottle is cold-pressed without heat, without additives, without compromise. The result is an oil with a naturally sweet, fruity flavor that elevates everything it touches — from a simple drizzle over fresh bread to the finishing touch on a carefully plated dish.
Now available in the United States, and shipped directly from our family mill.
A Valley, A Family, A Tree
The Valle Argentina in Liguria is one of the most breathtaking corners of Italy — and one of the least known. Tucked between the Maritime Alps and the Ligurian Sea, its terraced hillsides have been home to ancient Taggiasca olive trees for over 12 centuries.
The Roi family has been part of this landscape since 1900. Paolo Roi, who runs the mill today alongside his father, still believes that the best olive oil is made by people who never stop learning from the land.
When you open a bottle of ROI, you open that valley.
